I
have been traveling a lot between
Santa Fe & San Patricio, and I particularly love a lonely
stretch
of road near Encino. As the cloud shadows race my pickup down the
highway, the constantly changing drama of light on the landscape brings
a truly American sense of freedom that I have cherished since I was a
teenager. Whether on a bike or in a car, that feeling is what inspired
this painting. I hope it comes across! We can send a higher
